Setting up and running the Museums Archives and Libraries Disability Association (MALDA), a support and contact network giving people working in the sector up to date information on disability issues.

Audience Development Strategy: an action plan and strategy for audience development as part of a Stage 1 HLF bid for Locke Park, Redcar.

Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF) schemes
- putting together working teams for bids
- advising on, and writing bids for HLF Stages 1 and 2, Your Heritage etc.
Relevant Projects (2000-03):
Successful HLF bids: led team and wrote bid to secure £360,000 for the restoration of Shibden Hall. Oversaw the restoration of the Grade II* 15th century hall. Founder member of multi-disciplinary Estate Management Team which wrote £6m restoration bid for the whole of Shibden Park (Stage 1 approval granted, March 2004).

Premises management and refurbishment

- linking Libraries’ Writer in Residence scheme with arts professional contacts
